Delta Phi Epsilon Receives their Charter!

On Friday May 4th, the Gamma Xi Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon was officially chartered at Rhode Island College.  Family and friends came out to support the women who were initiated in a private ceremony followed by a reception in the Ballroom.  The semester long process entailed a lot of hard work and dedication from each of the founding members.  We are very proud of the women and their accomplishments.

The Art of Stepping - Wednesday Night 4/25/12

Wednesday evening brought out a great group to the Ballroom to learn the Art of Stepping (AOS).  Remo, as she is best known by friends and colleagues, came to RIC to teach members of the Greek Community the fundamentals of stepping based six key principles:
  1. Precision: Accuracy and sharpness when defining beats
  2. Voice Clarity: Clear vocal understanding when speaking to the audience
  3. Synchronization: Full team organized to perform precisely at the same time
  4. Transition and Counts: Beats and counts to form a routine
  5. Energy: Simply put, “active working”
  6. Strength: Possession of body and mental power
Check out the AOS website for a full bio of Remo and to learn what AOS is all about.

Take a look at the videos below to see the RIC Greek Life members show their skills!
